Tour Cancellation & Refunds

Public Tours

Due to the time and organisation involved in touring, The Vino Bus reserves the right to charge a tour cancellation fee to cover cost and losses. The following fees are applicable:

Within 24 hours - 100% of tour cost
24 hours to 4 days notice - 50% of tour cost
5 to 20 days notice - 10% of tour cost
20 days+ notice - full refund

Private Group Tours

Within 24 hours - 100% of tour cost
24 hours to 4 days notice - 100% of tour cost
5 to 14 days notice - 50% of tour cost
15 to 20 days notice - 20% of tour cost
21 days+ - full refund
Deposit is non refundable for private tours

Changes to bookings

Changes to bookings can be made and are free of charge providing they are within a reasonable time frame so that your booking can be replaced. Changes cannot be made within 48 hours of the tour.

Being late for your tour

Our tours always operate on a tight schedule, from picking up other passengers to having pre-booked appointments with each tasting destination. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your arranged pick up time, unfortunately we will leave you behind and 100% of the tour cost will apply.

Liability

Your use of the site is at your own risk. Where conditions and warranties implied by applicable law cannot be excluded, The Vino Bus limits its liability where and to the extent it is entitled to do so. Otherwise, neither The Vino Bus, nor any of its affiliates, officers or directors nor any of its agents or any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the site will be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or other damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on the site, including damages caused by viruses or any incorrectness or incompleteness of the information on the site, or the performance of the products.

Exclusion Of Liability - Force Majeure

We do not accept liability for any loss, damage or expense resulting from war or terrorist activities threatened or actual, riot or civil unrest, industrial action threatened or actual, weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, closures, unforeseen alterations to public transport schedules, rescheduling of aircraft or boats, epidemic or outbreaks of illness or any other event outside our control which either delays or extends or reduces the trip, or compels a change in the trip arrangements after departure (“Force Majeure”).

All content featured or displayed on the site is owned by The Vino Bus. You may not modify any of the materials and you may not copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information or work contained on the site. Except as authorised under the copyright laws, you are responsible for obtaining permission before reusing any copyrighted material that is available on the site. For purposes of these terms, the use of any such material on any other website or networked computer environment is prohibited. You will not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices from material found on the site.

Age Policy

The Vino Bus conducts wine tours for persons 18+ only. Circumstances can change if your are travelling on a private tour basis, then the intinerary may be modified to accommodate for minors. Under no circumstance will alcohol be served to anyone under the age of 18 years old.

Drinking on the bus

Due to the heavy fines that apply, drinking alcohol is NOT permitted on the bus. All of the wineries we visit are nice and close to one another, so you don't have very much time in between drinks anyway.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted on the bus. There are designated smoking areas at most of the destinations we visit.

Behaviour

The Vino Bus reserves the right to refuse to carry a person who's behaviour is affecting the other passengers experience in a negative way. Any threats to the driver, passengers or winery staff that are verbal or physical will result in the removal from the tour. If you are required to leave the tour due to a behavioural issue, no refund will be issued.

Excessive Drinking

The Vino Bus staff LOVE wine as much as you do, and certainly do not want you getting home sober - however we do care about your safety and there is a difference between having a great day full of wine tasting/appreciation and taking things too far. If any staff from The Vino Bus thinks you are heavily intoxicated, you may be cut off from further wine tasting. No compensation or refund will be provided if you have been refused alcohol for being too intoxicated.

Vomiting in the bus as a result of irresponsible alcohol intake will result in a $200 charge.

Damage to the bus as a result of alcohol related irresponsible behaviour will result in a $200 charge
